We are a group of active individuals who wish to support vegetarianism/veganism in Moldova by providing information on our website and on regular meetings open to the public. Feel free to navigate through our website for tips such as survival in Romania and Russia for the visiting veggie, local recipes adapted for use with local meat substitutes, available products in Moldova and where to buy them, and details about past activities and future plans.
Although our NGO has been active since 2003, many of our members have been vegetarian/vegan for 5 years or longer here in Moldova. So feel confident knowing that you are not alone and that it is possible to maintain a healthy vegetarian lifestyle during your time in Moldova. But most important is that you need not be a dedicated vegetarian to appreciate our website. We provide this information for those who may enjoy the occasional veggie meal, those living with a vegetarian, or anyone interested in a lifestyle change.
